Old Fort Strong Endurance Festival
Help Rebuild Old Fort, NC
TODAY
This page is dedicated to businesses and individuals that would like to help Old Fort rebuild. If you’re looking for a direct and meaningful way to help western North Carolina recover from severe flooding, consider this cause. With your collective help, the festival can achieve its goal of raising over 2 million dollars. All funds will be used to rebuild the ~50 homes lost in Old Fort, NC.

Each athlete that registers for The Old Fort Strong Endurance Festival on December 7th, commits to raising at least $1,500 that will go directly into The Old Fort Strong Fund. You have the opportunity to match racers' goals and further the mission of the fund, which is to put money directly into the hands of homeowners trying to rebuild. The in-person event sold out in less than a week with over 400 racers. More are joining virtually and running/riding in their own neighborhoods. Many racers have set goals of raising $5,000 and $10,000.

The fund is managed by Camp Grier, a 501c3 organization that has been on the front lines of helping the Old Fort Community since the aftermath of Hurricane Helene.
